Sun and fun (only ONE person at a time here!!!)

*The warm summer sun beats down on the sandy beachline as it lights the area all around. The sand along the beach seems to glisten in the rays of light and seems to dance with the water alpping on the shore. The palm trees all around rustle slightly in the soft breeze, filling the air with the sound of the leaves rubbing together. About twenty feet out, a girl with long, sandy blonde hair in a blue and white stripped two piece sits on a surf board waiting for a wave to pass by. Her visable skin seems to sparkle in the mid after noon sun. And of course with all this sun came heat, reaching into the water she spalshes her face and rubs her arms with the cool salty water.*
"I wonder what Alexander is doing back at the dorm..."
*She thought to herself as she saw a huge wave beginning to raise above her. Paddling out to it, just as she reaches the right point, she jumps to her feet and bends her knees. The wave behind her was a good eight feet tall and glinted in the summer sun. It begins to close and she shoots out the other side, slowing to a stop she laughs in joy and lets herself fall back onto the board and puts her hands behind her head.*

It was a fine day for relaxing today, much like any other day, Kenji thought. The sun seemed to radiate more vibrant than ever, but it wasn't too hot and the warmth of its rays gave Kenji a good feel to it. The beach, seemed like the best choice to go. The day was strangely better than the last few days, with the weather in great shape and the wind fleeting smoothly upon the otherwise empty areas. The wind pushed the branches and made the leaves float slowly to the ground, as the frequent stronger gushes of air made the leaves dance to their own rhythm, beat and sound. He went on his way, pretty excited for the view.

Not only was the water refreshing, the view of the Sunset today will be great. There weren't any clouds blocking his viewing way. Before going to the beach though, he made sure he bought his favorite past time other than relaxing, food. Yes, food. He brought with him a basket full of his favorite fruits and snacks, and another plastic bag for his favorite drink, the orange juice.

The basket was filled with apples, mangoes and strawberries. Apart from those were his snacks-- potato chips and a few chocolate bars as his dessert. The day is all going according to plan today. He wore his favorite t-shirt on his way to the beach, his red and bright shirt which had the word, "Relax" on it, and behind the shirt was the phrase, "Loosen Up." He was really fond of these statement shirts, he felt like it could tell his mood for the whole day.

At long last, the beach was here. There were a lot of people now even though its midway through the afternoon. The sun was still bright anyways, it was still capable of reflecting its warm rays on the human body. Kenji slowly walked and approached the beachline, his face reflecting the glow of the sunlight and his face was really relaxed. He has his usual faded smile, only it was much more apparent cause of the bright light.

Approaching the beach line, he settled down and placed his basket of goodies on the sandy floor. He got out his basket and went to pick out an apple. After so, he gratefully took a bite, with the sweetness of the apple springing on his mouth, he couldn't help but to giggle even just a little. He saw a girl who was seemingly surfboarding not far from him, and when the wave splashed onto the shore, she was actually just beside Kenji. Kenji glared at her, and then smiled.

"Apples?"

*She looks up at Kenji and can't help but smile. Sitting up, she brings out a hair tie from her bag next to her and ties up her hair. Glancing at him again, she smiles again.*
"I'm sorry, beg your pardon?"
*She didn't quiet understand what Kenji was asking her. She stands and jabs her surf bosrd into the sand, amking it stand on it's own. Walking back over to her bag, she reaches in a brings out surf board wax. Putting her arm behind the board to support it, she begins waxing it's surface.*

Kenji smiled once again. This time it was a really wide smile, and you could feel that he was pretty much in a good mood. "I was asking if you would like some apples." Kenji then got his basket and searched for an apple. He got the best one on the bunch and then held it out to the girl.

"Here, take it. I can't possibly eat this all, can I?" Although it was pretty obvious that he planned on eating it all alone, he went to say so anyway, just so to persuade the girl to get the apple. Another wave rushes the salty waters, it was a mere 7 feet tall way, but it was still a sight to see.

The waters slowly landed on the shore just a few inches away from Kenji's feet. He giggled a little, it was really relaxing here. There was nothing like a time in the beach. "I forgot to introduce myself, my bad." He kept holding out his hand until the girl was going to take it, he wasn't going to take no for an answer, he had lots of food with him today anyways.

People were playing, making sand castles and some others were just bathing in the ironically cool sunlight, and Kenji felt he'd do the same after he ate.

*Smiling, she takes the apple and bites into it. Just before she bites, you can see fangs in her mouth. This kinda gives away she is what she is. After swallowing she smiling at Kenji again*
"I forgot to introduce myself as well. I'm Chinsei, but everybody calls me Chi."
*She throws the apple in the air and lets it roll across both her shoulders before she throws it up into the air with her hand. Just as it begins to fall she catches it in her teeth.*

"I thought so." He smiled once more, but for a reason that wouldn't be obvious to anyone else. It seems that this girl was a vampire, much like Kenji. Kenji's heightened senses already smelled blood from her, as he would from any other vampire.

"Ok then, so I'll call you Chi?" He winked a bit then removed the orange juice cans from the plastic bag. "Care to have a drink with me?" The waters were cleverly reaching for the show, soaking Kenji's feet with cool water. It was relaxing to say the least, and Kenji rarely made his way to the beach, so it kinda had a new feel to it.

He wondered for just a little while though, he thought that most vampires could be so blood thirsty and destructive, but it seems he was wrong. It made him a smile a bit more, before biting a large one on his apple, filling his mouth with its sweetness and fruity taste. Kenji watched as Chi ate her apple and exclaimed, "You like em', don't you?".

*She takes one of the cans and nods to thank him.*
"Yes, you may call me Chi like all my friends do."
*Opening the can, she's surprised when it sprits orange juice in her face. Laughing like she always does when this happenes, she grabs her towel and dries off her face.*
"Yes, I do like apples, they're one of my favorite fruits."

Kenji then chuckles at the sight of the orange juice spazzing onto her face. He then searched for some kind of cloth that he brought with him. He finally found it, but as he reach it to hand over to Chi, she was already wiping her face with her towel. Kenji smiled at his own fail, not even noticing she brought her towel with him. Well, he was pretty relaxed and easy going, so it wasn't that much of a bother anyway.

He quickly put down the cloth, and then moved the basket much closer to Chi, with the two of them in between. "I see, so do I." He smiled, and then got out one of his potato chip snacks. He opened the wrap and then slowly picked out a chip and then placed it on his mouth. With a very wide smile, he chewed and before actually swallowing the chip, put another one in his mouth.

"Help yourself. I love food, but I don't mind sharing it with anyone." Maybe he was being too kind to a stranger, even if they seemed friendly to each other. But he knew that this girl could be trusted, since he has already noticed her true nature, and she doesn't seem to be the type that would look for a fight randomly.

"So tell me more about you, Chi." Kenji was just enjoying the day, and a casual conversation and getting to know each other doesn't seem half bad at all.

'Oh, thank you."
*She takes a chip and eats it herself. After swallowing she smiles at his statement*
"Well, let me think were should I start?"
*She sits on the blanket with her hand under her chin thinking for a moment*
"Well, what do you want to know really?"

"Anything, really. I just didn't know how to start a conversation." He chuckled a bit at himself, that statement just made a complete fool out of him. He is completely aware of it though, and he wasn't bothered at the slightest bit, he was saying the truth anyways.

"You seem to be a pretty fun person yourself." All Kenji did was relax, so people wouldn't call him a fun person. Kenji was actually enjoying the little talk they had, it's the first time he had a casual conversation while he was relaxing. Most of the time, he'd ignore people and just look at nature at its finest, moving and having a life of its own.

"Anything you feel like telling me, just fire away." He smiled again, before reaching for the potato wrapper and grabbing another chip, chewing on it and tasting the salty explosion of flavor on his mouth.

"Alright let me think for a moment."
*She taps her finger against her face to think and after a moment she says*
"Well, I have a lot of hobbies. One you just saw and a lot of others."
*She smiles at him, brushing a piece of her snady blonde hair back behind her ear*

Kenji was amazed that someone like her could be willing to give out personal information to anyone who's a stranger they met from moments ago. Still, he couldn't ask for more, it wasn't like he had many friends or comrades. He preferred to do thing alone with minimal company, but it wasn't his style to leave out the best things in life.

"I see. Well, my hobby is relaxing, as you can see here." Kenji pointed at the word on his shirt, with a grateful smile on his face. The water was still a view, the waves were playing around on the delicate waters with the wind joining in the fray, creating an almost blissful sound as the sea water clashed.

"Hmm, apart from that, I eat food, lots of them. I hate demons, they're a bunch you can't properly talk to." Well, everyone at the Academy knew about these creatures, not only that, they were more or less one of these creatures themselves. Non-human species, living a human-like community in an academy, a place made exactly for them.

The wrapper was empty now, but Kenji wanted more to nibble, so he got out another apple and began munching small bites, only swallowing after biting and chewing three small pieces. The taste was kinda sour, but it still had its sweetness akin to the ripe apple.

*Laughs a bit as he points to his shirt*
"Yes, I love relaxing too."
*She then listens to him and nods slowly in agreemnet.*
"Yes, demons can be a bit distastful."
*She cracks her neck.*

Kenji grabbed a can of his orange juice, and drank a bit. He let out a sigh of quench as he drank up to half the can. He remembered his first encounter with demons, it wasn't any fun at all, though he turned out to be the one who was smiling in the end anyway. It didn't feel that great to have killed some lowly demons who lost their mind in finding souls to eat.

"Well, us vampires don't have a healthy relationship with em." He exclaimed, his face seemed to be pretty disturbed by the thought of demons. Although he wasn't really afraid of them, it just got on his nerves that beings like them are allowed to exist and study at the academy.

"Yeah, I know what you mean."
*She stands and streches.*
"It's nice out, but I think I'm gonna start heading home."
*She walks toward him to pick up her board but her foot gets caught and she starts falling towards him*

Kenji catches her just before she gets her faced shoved on the rough sand. "You sure are clumsy, Chi. You should be more careful." He said as he slowly placed Chi on a sitting position. He then removed the surfboard from the sand, and then reaches out his hand to Chi.

"You should stand up." Kenji was smiling at her gently this time, offering her some help up. "I'll carry the surfboard. You can go ahead and carry the basket and the bag." Kenji then started walking away from the seashore, slowly making his way to some hut made for the tourists.

The hut seemed empty and was a pretty good place to sit and watch the sunset, and then as the day grows to a close gaze at the stars and the Moon.

*As she's caught hse look sup at him, a light pink tint on her cheeks. As she's sit down and watches him take her board, she nods to his suggestion and stands taking the basket and bag. Following him, her eyes wonder down to his neck, and her stomach growls making her blush even more.*

It was weird, but Kenji's heightened senses almost allowed him to hear Chi's stomach growling from hunger. Kenji chuckled a bit as he entered the small hut and then put the board on one of the seats in front of him. The hut had 3 long seats in a rectangular formation, with a table they could all reach out to.

Kenji tapped the table while looking and smiling at Chi who was following him. "You can place the things here. There's still a lot of food left, and I think your hunger would completely disappear once we eat them all." Though his eyes were as if glaring a hundred miles ahead, you could see that he was observing the girl, maybe she was clumsy and he didn't want her to go and trip again, but as long as Kenji has some company, he had to look after them, he supposed.

"Come on!"

*Chi walks over and sits across form him*
"Yeah..."
*she's apprehensive. Truth was, it wasn't the human food that she craved for.*

Kenji didn't even notice her vampire side, he totally forgot about it. Now that she released all signals of hunger, even after just eating, Kenji realized that he too was hungry. He too needed a drink. He hasn't drank any blood for so long, its actually weakening him, and he needed to, or he would be as useless as a fly.

"Well, eat up! I know you're going to have another meal after, but please, I don't want to spoil the food." Kenji bit his lip for a split second, with his expression turning serious for awhile. He needed blood, but he didn't know how to get some without any trouble. Kenji then got another one of his apples then bit a piece. He was trying to remove the hunger he felt from not being able to drink a necessity.

*She reaches into the basket and gets out another apple. Her hand is shaking a bit.*
Damn, I need blood. I haven't had blod in over a month...
*She grips her wrist to try and stop the shaking but only makes it worse. She stares at the aple almost in disgust. It wasn't that she didn't think it looked good, it just didn't look good right NOW*

Kenji, who always calmed his head and mind, had no noticeable symptoms. He was as clear as when he drank blood, but he certainly felt the need. He noticed Chi shaking from the effects of not drinking blood for a period of time, and then grabbed wrist to try and stop the shaking. Kenji's hand was cold, and it was definitely a vampire's hand.

"I'm sorry. If you don't feel like eating, you can just put the apple down." Its not that he ate food because he was hungry, as in a form of need for his body. He wanted to feel hungry, the kind of hunger the humans felt so that he could forget about his bloodthirst, but he knew that they couldn't last the long. Though the apple still tasted great for him, it became pretty unsatisfying.

*Blinks and sets the apple down. Her fingers shake still and she curses under her breath. Closing her eyes she tries to keep calm, she wasn't going to give half the people on the beach a heart attack by trying to find blood.*

When a vampire becomes so blood thirsty, they get lost in their senses and follow their instincts, well instinctively. She might not be able to handle eat, and start and go lashing out at the number of humans in the beach. Kenji had to think of something, or they were both going to end up making some blood.

"Do you want to leave this place, Chi?"

*She look sup at him, then slowly nods.*
'I don't want ot hurt anyone"
*She shakily stands, forcing her feet to carry her body weight*
