Kami's new friend...

"I-I'm sure." Zero lied. He really wasn't too sure himself. He had heard of neko's, and how they were sex slaves and such, but he didn't think of Kami that way. He thought of her as a friend, nothing more. He felt his hand travel up and gently touch the tip of her ear, unaware of what he was doing.

Zero pulled his hand back quickly. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to touch your ears without your permission." Zero said, blushing a bit.

Zero blushed more, looking down at his feet in embarassment. Inwardly he sighed. Why did he have to be so damn bashful around cute girls? He looked at her, but his eyes didn't meet hers, his face still red.

"You still cold, Kami?" Zero asked her, turning around so she wouldn't see his red face.

"Let me make a small fire then." Zero said, getting up and putting his jacket around her. He quickly made a small pit of fire and gathered some dry grass and misplaced twigs. "Hadoken!" Zero said, putting the fire element in it, making a small fire. He went back near Kami after he made the fire.

Zero was caught off guard by the huggle, but he didn't let it show. He gave a little smile. She was so...weird. But he didn't mind. He thought normal was overrated (an actual quote of mine, and if you don't belive me, go to my page on facebook). He hugged her to, trying to warm her up more.

Zero watched as she ran, smiling. A brother. That gave him a warm feeling in his chest. A feeling he had been missing for a long time. This is what it felt like to know that he had family. A tear started to flow down his face, but he wiped it away. He put out the fire and headed out, going back to his house.
