A day in the life...

Zero was zooming down the highway with Chinsei behind him, heading to the doctors. They had marked this day as when they could come in to see what gender the baby was gonna be. He couldn't wait to see if he would have a daughter or son.

She hangs onto him a bit tightly with one arm, and one hand drapped across her swelling stomach. Excitement sweeled in her heart, she'd dreamt of this day forever it seemed.

Zero pulled infront of the doctor's office, parking up. He gently helped Chinsei off of the bike. He walked inside and went to the front nurses's desk. "How may I help you, sir?" The lady asked. "My girlfriend has an appointment to see what the gender of our child is." Zero said. "Ah, the Kaji party. The doctor is availible now. You can go in to see him." The nurse said, pointing to his room. "Thank you." Zero said, gently grasping Chinsei's hand as they went to the doctors office.

She smiled, brimming with excitement. A lot of thoughts were running through our mind, but she just kept thinking of what their baby would be.

Zero walked into the room, seeing the complicated machine that they would use to see the baby. He saw the doctor, sitting there with an honest smile on his face. "Well, I know you are both anxious to see what the baby is, so lets get started." The doctor said.

She smiles even more and sits on the bed and listens to the doctor as he tells her to lay down.

Zero sat down in a chair, twiddling his thumbs anxiously. He couldn't wait. His heart was beating a million miles per hour. The doctor put this jelly like substance on her bare stomach. "This might tickle a bit..." the doctor murmured as he ran the machine over her stomach. It showed the image of their child, a little blurred at first, but soon enough it became clearer and clearer. "You see that?" the doctor said, looking at Zero. "That's your child."

A few tears fall down her face and she smiles even more.

Zero stared in surprise at the image on the screen. "And just to let you know, its a boy." The doctor said, with a smile on his face.

She laughs once and the smile becomes even bigger.

A huge smile creeped across Zero's face as tears of joy escaped his eyes. So he was gonna have a son...this was great. The doctor took some pictures using the machine of their child, which they could come and pick up later. "Okay, you're free to go." The doctor said.

She stands up and runs over to hug Zero, crying happily.

Zero was caught in her embrace, hugging her close. He snuggled her closer, tears flowing his eyes also.

The doctor steps out to let them be alone. Chi can't even speak she's so happy right now.

Zero stroked her hair softly, tears of complete joy streaming down his face. He kissed the top of her head.

Steppin gback she wipes her eyes and smiles at him.
"Isn't this great love?~"

"This is a momentus occasion." Zero said softly. He wiped the tears from his eyes and face. He smiled, the joy overwhelming him.

"What do you feel like doing?" Zero asked her. "I'm up for anything."

"Then lets head to the ice-cream shop!" Zero said with enthusiasm. "Good thing I got a crapload of money from working last week and the week before the whole time." Zero said. "Plus my insurance check."

She laughs a bit and takes his hand.

Zero walked out of the doctors office with her, heading to the ice-cream shop. "What are ya gonna get?" Zero asked as they drove.

"My fav, chocolate chip cookie dough~"
At just the though she licks her lips.

Zero smiled. "I like turtle tracks ice cream. I like the caramel." Zero said, drooling a bit. They arrived at the ice-cream store. He ordered a waffle bowl chocolate chip cookie dough sundae and a waffle bowl turtle tracks sundae.
