Two Hunters - From Two Different Worlds

Kyoko stood in the door way, taking her shoes off and walked into the middle of the room. She pulled out all of her CD's - each of them holding some type of symbol with the elements. She held a straight stance - the CD's all around her. Kyoko then jumped into the air as the strong beat of Techno then erupted in the room. A CD with the symbol of wind flew in the air. Kyoko opened her eye - eyes bright amber. She tapped her fingers to the beat. The air seemed to bonce with the beat as then Kyoko landed on the ground. The rhyme changed as different CDs were being used. Kyoko didn't seem tired as she danced along with the beat - unknown if anyone was watching. Her scarf was next to her shoes while her headphones around her neck, but not falling off.

The new teacher, Known only as Jacob to few, and Law Bringer to many, walks into the combat area. He crosses his arms watching her doing what she was doing before deciding that he had enough of this foolery. He was here for a reason, he walked over to the young female, and took his hand placing it on her shoulder giving it a firm hold. "Excuse me Miss." He said bringing his hand up ready for an attack due to the unknown of who was there behind her.

Due to his lightning fast reflexes he quickly was able to regain his balance from hitting the wall. He shook his head a moment and chuckled a bit tilting his hat in a cowboy type fashion. "No worries at all Miss, It was my fault for sneakin' up on you like that. Anyway, I would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind miss." He said with a slight chuckle before crossing his arms.

Jacob noticed the scar however he didn't care, He wasn't here to hurt her. "Yes Ma'am, I'm looking for a Vampire Lord, He's been known to teach here before, His name is Fionnghall Dafel, He also goes by the name Archer, and Fion. He has a large bounty on his head and he needs to be brought to justice. Anything you know that could help me out a bit Miss?" He said with a smile.

He gave her a genuine one million dollar smile. "I'm Jacob Maston, I teach Defense and Combat Simulations here. Though I don't think I recall knowing your name Miss...?"

Jacob stared at her through those blue eyes of his, he had a feeling, like he always did, there was more to this girl then was shown. He took a moment to process her name. "Kyoko...Miss Kyoko...Beautiful name, Rather fitting of a beautiful girl like you."

Jacob smiled a bit and tipped his hat to her. "No thanks necessary miss, Just the truth." He watched as she took the Headphones off and curiously asked. "Whatcha doin?"

Jacob nodded a bit and kneeled a bit, Looking up at her for a moment before smiling. "So tell me a bout yourself Miss Kyoko, I would be rather grateful to get to know someone like you."

"U-Um ... I'm a huntress - an only child, truth being I ran away from my uncles and came here ..." Kyoko said in a soft voice as she then sat down on the ground. She silently listened to her music and played with her scarf a bit. She also watched Jacob from the corner of her eye - wondering what he would do.

Jacob nods a bit and takes off his hat, the messy hair coming into play as he smiles a bit. "A only child then huh? I see...If I may ask, Why do ya wear the scarf over the scar on your neck?"

Kyoko's face paled again, she felt her blood run cold. Was someone really asking about that scar? Someone that even bothered to wonder ... ? Kyoko seemed very surprised to hear Jacob question that about her. Kyoko sighed and traced the first part on her chin - thinking about how she had gotten it. "So I don't always have to look down, over my shoulder or some how see it and remember the past . Plus ... certain people would know I'm who I am and would try to attack me."

Jacob blinked "And who are you Miss Kyoko?" He says with a friendly smile on his face looking at her.

"A Half-breed Daughter to a once powerful demon lord who had gotten killed my his brothers - my uncles." Kyoko said with a sad voice, her eyes downcast to the floor. The beat of the music changed quite strangely now to the emotion that Kyoko was feeling. Even Kei, was upset about this. What Kyoko felt, she could feel as well.

Jacob smiles a bit "I don't see a demon, I see a beautiful energetic girl." He said trying to cheer her up a bit. "If I may ask, what are you runnin' from Miss Kyoko?"

Kyoko smiled softy, looking up at the older man. She felt happy - to be seen as not a half-blood child who should be killed. "My Uncles, I ran from them tired of them 'punishing' me for who I am. They've sent demons after me to either kill me and bring my body to them. Or at lest take me to them and do what they want." Kyoko said, but not in a sad or depressed voice. Kei was quite shocked that Kyoko was becoming so open. She was happy, but yet silently told Kyoko not to become too , too open just yet.

Jacob chuckled a bit and took a seat taking out a Cigarette and lighting it with a match. After a second he takes a puff and puts the match out. "I see, Well Miss Kyoko, I would like to offer my protection to you for free. I don't like when men attempt to hurt women. Its unnatural even for a demon." He takes a moment to pull out his Revolvers and places it against the ground infront of her motioning to them "These guns have killed many demons before. Those who try to hurt you will be added to the list Miss Kyoko."

Kyoko reached out and gently touched one. Her skin became cold as she felt the cold metal of the gun. Kyoko then pulled her hand back and looked down at the hand that had touched the gun. The Half-breed then looked up at Jacob and shook her head softy. "J-Jacob-Sensei ... please I do not wish to have you become involved in this ..." She in a soft voice, looking down at the floor.

Jacob's blue, soft eyes look at her and he smiles a bit. "I want to, After all a gorgeous woman like you should never be so stressed out as to looking behind her and worrying every moment of the day. I will be yer guardian Miss Kyoko. End of Story." He smiled a bit more before reaching out and patting her shoulder a bit. "After all, I must be a little honest, I'm rather interested in ya darlin'"

Kyoko closed her eyes when she saw that he was lifting his hand toward her. Some part of her was still scared that she would be hit by someone. Her body then tensed feeling his hand pat her shoulder. Kyoko then slowly opened her eyes, hearing what he said. Kyoko's eyes widened slightly, Amber eyes looking into his blue ones. "B-Bu-But Y-your a te-teacher ... and I am a student ..." Kyoko said in a very soft voice - she too seemed to had liked the older man, but denied it while Kei silently told her how she really felt. Her eyes seemed to become almost depressed after noticing this fact.
